"guarantee"??
As a Tucows Valentine's Day gift, perhaps, on 14 February NetIdentity General Manager Ross Rader wrote:
the team is working aggressively on the following guarantee:
Back to normal by March 10.
Normal means:
- no more than a 24 hour average response to email and web-submitted questions
- no more than an average of 10 minutes on hold for telephone inquiries
- all existing questions answered
A few observations and predictions:
- This "guarantee" is apparently backed by nothing more than Ross's say-so, which history has shown to be worthless -- therefore I predict "back to normal" will *not* happen by 10 March, especially with the telephone inquiries.
- E-mail "response" in the past has been canned and irrelevant -- therefore I predict it will continue in the same manner after 10 March.
- In the past, "questions answered" also consisted of canned and irrelevant replies -- therefore I predict questions will be answered similarly after 10 March.
